All activities performed by a Lend Ten volunteer are free of charge. There is no cost to sign up for or receive services through Lend Ten. Any requests for payment of services are prohibited and should be reported to us immediately. Volunteers may request to be refunded for out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of a purchase required to fulfill your request. We will obtain your approval prior to incurring any expenses.

 

These times are unprecedented. We understand there are many who cannot leave their homes or easily help themselves for various reasons. Lend Ten is here to help. We are a group of community volunteers in the Kansas City area joining together to help our neighbors in need.

Our goal is to pair you with someone in your neighborhood who can help with some basic chores (as allowed):*

 

 *We want keep everyone safe. This means ensuring recommended social distances and safety precautions are followed as recommended by local governments, the CDC and the WHO.

 

Examples of assistance we can provide include:**

• Doing basic yard work and gardening

• Taking out trash/recycling and bringing in bins

• Running errands, such as trips to the supermarket or hardware store

• Picking up carryout meals

• Taking dogs for walks/caring for animals

• Other activities
   

** Within the comfort level of your volunteer and within parameters outlined by organizations listed above.
